NEET Counselling Date 2023: MCC Releases Notice Ahead of Schedule Announcement

The schedule for the counselling process of the NEET UG 2023 will be announced soon. Once the counselling dates are officially declared, they will be accessible on the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Ahead of the announcement, MCC has issued a notification regarding the release of the NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) 2023 results. The official notice can be accessed on the MCC’s website

The MCC, under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), received the NEET UG (MBBS/BDS) 2023 result hard drive from the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 20, 2023. They are currently in the process of distributing the results. 

This information is meant for all State/Union Territory Directorate of Medical Education (DMEs) to be aware of. Representatives from the states/UTs DMEs can visit the MCC office between Monday and Friday, from 10:30 A.M. to 5 P.M., to collect the results.

Required Documents for NEET UG 2023 Counselling

The MCC has also emphasised that all eligible candidates participating in the NEET UG 2023 counselling procedure must submit their documents for the verification process. It is important to note that if any of the required documents are found to be fraudulent, the candidate’s admission will be revoked.

Here is a list of the documents required for the NEET UG 2023 counselling: 

  • Valid government-issued photo ID card (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID)
  • NEET UG 2023 admit card
  • NEET UG 2023 scorecard
  • Class 10, and 12 marksheet
  • Migration certificate
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Category certificate, such as Caste, EWS, disability etc (if needed)

NEET UG 2023 Results

The NEET UG 2023 results were announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 13. Among the candidates who appeared for the exam, Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh achieved the top ranks by obtaining percentile scores of 99.99. Out of the total 20.38 lakh candidates who registered for the exam, 11.45 lakh candidates successfully qualified.
