MUCMET FAQs 2023: Results, Eligibility, Syllabus

Every year, the Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test, or MUCMET, is held for admission to the Integrated BMS+MBA course at the varsity’s Thane Sub Campus. The MUCMET 2023 application forms will be available on Mumbai University’s official website. Following the announcement of the MUCMET 2023 results, a merit list will be released, and successful candidates will be able to seek admission on that basis. Aspirants should be aware that 85% of MUCMET seats at Maharashtra University are reserved for Maharashtra residents. Candidates who pass the MUCMET 2023 admissions process will be admitted to the University of Mumbai’s five-year integrated BMS+MBA programme.

The following are the MUCMET 2023 eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have completed a recognised board’s Higher Secondary/Intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum 45% aggregate in any stream.
The minimum aggregate cutoff percentage for Reserved category students is 40%.
The candidate must be under the age of 20 on June 1, 2022. (22 years in case of reserved category and PWD candidates)

The MUCMET application fee is INR 500 for the general category and INR 250 for the reserved category.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for MUCMET 2023 
– To begin the registration process, go to the official website and set up an account.
– On the form, a recent passport-size photo of the candidate must be attached. Attach the photo with glue. It should not be stapled.
– Attach soft copies of all relevant documents, such as class 10 and 12 mark sheets, caste certificates, and domicile certificates, to the form.
– Pay the INR 500 application fee for open-category students and Rupees 250 for reserved-category students.
– Make a copy of the completed form for future reference.

For the MUCMET exam, students must thoroughly study topics like interest, profit and loss, discount, probability, algebra, permutation and combination, etc.

The MUCMET exam is divided into four sections: quantitative aptitude, verbal aptitude and reading comprehension, logical and abstract reasoning, and general awareness.

Yes, For every Incorrect answer, 0.5 points are deducted.

The exam is 120 minutes or two hours. Under any circumstances, no additional time will be granted.
