On November 29th, 2022, the body published the official notification for the KVS recruitment drive on its official website, Kvsangathan.nic.in. 

  • According to the released notification, the said body has announced around 13,000 vacancies for various teaching posts in 2023.

How to Apply for the KVS Recruitment Exam 2023? 

Applicants who wish to apply for the said exam must follow the steps outlined below to ensure a seamless submission process.  

  • Candidates appearing for the said exam are required to visit the official website of KVS, i.e., kvsangathan.nic.in/. 
  • Once done with that, they need to click on the “KVS Apply Online Link” on the home page.
  • Then, candidates will be asked to register themselves. This can be done with the help of a valid phone number and email address.
  • Once the registration is completed, they’ll be asked to ‘log -in’ using the acquired credentials. 
  • In the end, applicants will be required to fill in the requisite credentials and submit their forms. 
  • It is imperative for candidates to pay the application fee to complete the submission process.

KVS Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The sole purpose of conducting bodies prescribing set eligibility criteria for an examination is to ascertain whether or not the candidate possesses the requisite calibre and qualification.

Eligibility Criteria for KVS PGT Post

  • Candidates must be holding a master’s degree from a renowned university with at least 50% marks. 
  • Applicants must have a B.Ed degree from a recognized university. They must be proficient in Hindi and English. 

Eligibility Criteria for KVS TGT Post

  •      Candidates must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks in the concerned subjects. 
  • Applicants must have a B.Ed degree from a  recognized university and should have passed the CTET Paper II. 
  • Must be proficient in Hindi and English. 

Eligibility Criteria for Primary Teacher (Music)

KVS Primary Teacher Candidates must have completed their senior secondary with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary education. Candidates must have completed their senior secondary with a minimum score of 50% marks and a 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)Or
Applicants must be holding a degree in B.Ed with at least 50% marks. 
Those who have done their Bachelor of Education from any institution affiliated with the NCTE will be deemed eligible for the position of teacher (class 1-V).  Applicants must have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India. Must be proficient in Hindi and English.     

Eligibility Criteria for KVS Principal Post
