Section-Wise Karnataka TET Exam Analysis
The Karnataka TET exam analysis is done with the objective of evaluating results, such as individual scores and overall statistics, highest and lowest scores and average marks, analyzing the distribution of scores to understand the exam pattern and types of questions asked, assessing the effectiveness of questions and identifying areas for improvement in the future exams, etc. For the KARTET 2023, the exam analysis will be done after the exam is conducted. Paper I
The Karnataka TET Paper I will be conducted for candidates who want to become primary-level teachers, i.e. Classes 1 to 5. This paper will consist of a total of 150 multiple-choice questions, divided into 5 sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. *Note – Candidates who have any visual impairment will have to attend Social Studies subject in place of Environmental Studies and Mathematics, which will have a weightage of 60 marks.
Paper II
The Karnataka TET Paper II will be conducted for candidates who want to become elementary or upper primary teachers for Classes VI to VIII. Paper II will be divided into 4 sections: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science (only for Mathematics and Science teachers) and Social Studies (only for Social Studies teachers). Karnataka TET Cut-Off
The Karnataka TET cut-off list is released by the officials of the Department of School Education, Karnataka, after the commencement of the exam on its official website. FAQs
Candidates belonging to the General category need to score a minimum of 60% in Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who belong to the reserved category must score at least 55% in their desired paper.
The KARTET exam consists of 2 Papers: Paper I for teachers for Classes I to V and Paper II for teachers for Classes VI to VIII.
Through the KARTET exam, selected candidates will be offered the jobs of elementary teachers (Class I to VIII) across government schools in Karnataka.
