IPMAT Selection Process 2024
After the completion of registration and payment of application fees, the candidate has to appear for WAT and PI rounds. Find the other details below.
IPMAT 2024 Exam (WAT)
The candidates need to appear for the aptitude test, ie, the IPMAT exam. There are 36 cities across India which conduct the aptitude test. The IPMAT exam pattern 2024 Aptitude Test contains mainly three sections, which are:
- Quantitative Ability (MCQ)
- Quantitative Ability (descriptive-type short answer (SA))
- Verbal Ability (MCQ)
Personal Interview (PI)
After the exam is conducted, the admission committee decides the cut-off of each section of the examination. The minimum cut-off marks for each section will be based on the score and category of the candidate. The candidates will be selected for the online or offline personal interview based on the minimum marks and positive raw scores in each of the three sections of the examination.
Generation of Merit List and Final Selection
The candidates will be selected as per the cutoff marks of IPMAT. The generation of the merit list will be based on a composite score. The admission offers will be given to the candidates who have better final scores. The scores of the aptitude test can be calculated with the help of formulas given below:
