IMU CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria will be released with the official notification. To get admitted to the University, the candidates have to fulfil the mandatory eligibility criteria otherwise, they will be disqualified from the admission process. SC and ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in degree marks.

Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exams. Additionally, a minimum of 50% marks in English is also mandatory.5% relaxation applies to SC/ST category candidates. However, no relaxation applies to English marks. |
M.Tech | The candidate must hold a B.Tech/B.E degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from a UGC-Accredited college/university. SC and ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum marks. |
MBA | There is no age restriction. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a UGC-recognised college/university. A minimum of 50% marks in 10/10+2 is also mandatory. A relaxation of 5 years in degree for SC/ST is applicable. |
IMU CET Exam Pattern 2023
The examination will be conducted through the Computer Based Test (CBT). The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The IMU CET 2023 examination’s duration will be for 90 minutes (3 hours). For every correct response, 1 mark will be awarded. There is no negative marking in case of incorrect responses or unattended questions. Details are given in the table below:

The syllabus for IMU CET 2023 for every offered program is different as per the subject required for the examination. The Undergraduate programs entrance syllabus will consist of questions from both the 11th and 12th academic syllabus whereas the syllabus for Postgraduate programs will consist of questions from the relevant UG-level syllabus.

How to Apply
The entire process of registration is online and it comprises two stages:
- Stage I– Registration Process
Step 1: The candidates are required to visit the above-mentioned link.
Step 2: Enter the basic details correctly, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Phone Number, and Email ID.
Step 3: After successful completion, the candidates will receive a provisional registration number and a password on their registered Email ID and phone number.
- Stage II– login to fill up the Application Form
Step 1: Log in with the registered number and password and complete the application process.
Step 2: Fill up the personal details, academic qualifications, and communication and permanent address details carefully.
Step 3: Choose the examination centre nearest to you.
Step 4: Upload a scanned copy of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.
Step 5: Read carefully and then accept the terms and conditions.
Step 6: Verify the details entered by you carefully once more before proceeding further with the application fees.
Step 7: After verification, pay the required application fee.
Step 8: After successful payment of the application fee you will receive a copy of a receipt, download it and keep it for later reference.

Application Fee
The application fee for the IMU CET Examination 2023 is mandatory. Without successful payment, the application form will be cancelled. The application fee payment can be submitted online through the payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking only. The application fee is non-refundable. Offline fees will not be accepted.

The IMU CET 2023 admit card will be released online on 26th May 2023. Candidates who have successfully completed their IMU CET 2023 application process can download their admit cards by visiting the official website of the Indian Maritime University.
