IBSAT Selection Process Important Dates

IBSAT Cutoff
After the IBSAT 2023 result is declared, all the nine campuses of IBS individually release the IBSAT 2023 cut-off. The selected candidates are then called for a group discussion (GD) or Personal Interview(PI).

IBSAT Selection Stages
Candidates appearing for IBSAT 2023 must keep in mind that after giving the exam they have to go through two selection stages.
- Booking a Slot: Candidates who meet the IBSAT 2022 cutoff score must reserve their places to be contacted for the subsequent phases of the IBS admission process. For the selection briefing, candidates must book a slot (time, date, and city) on the IBS website. It is advised that students reserve their slots as soon as possible since the venue will be assigned based on slot availability.
- IBSAT Selection Briefings: the selection briefings are conducted in 54 locations by the ICFAI. Candidates are introduced to the culture of the institute in these briefings.
- GD/PI round: Candidates must travel to IBS institutes for the GD-PI rounds following the selection briefing. In the GD round, a group of eight to ten applicants are given a subject to discuss and are asked to articulate their opinions in detail. Members of the selection committee interview the shortlisted candidates during the PI phase. The primary objective of PI is to assess a candidate’s general knowledge, communication abilities, and mental and verbal clarity.

IBSAT Merit list
A final merit list is generated by the exam authorities after the conduction of GD and PI rounds.
The merit list will vary for the nine campuses of IBS. On each candidate’s IBSAT scorecard, a merit position, sectional score, and total score will be included. IBSAT Counselling
Once the cutoff for the IBSAT 2023 Exam is declared by the conducting authorities, shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling sessions at the IBS Hyderabad campus. The IBSAT selection process encompasses the entrance test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
