IBSAT FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

The result of the IBSAT exam was declared in the 1st week of January 2023. Appeared candidates can check the scorecard by using the login credentials.

The IBSAT announcement will be done in the 2nd week of January 2023. The selection list will be prepared on the basis of the exam score.

The counselling process for IBSAT will be done in the month of February and March. However, the exam conducting body has not made any announcement yet.

The eligibility criteria for the IBSAT exam is mentioned below
(1) Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate.
(2) Applicants in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.
(3) Candidates with a valid score of GMAT, CAT and NMAT by GMAC don’t have to appear for the IBSAT and can apply for direct admission.

To submit the application form for the IBSAT exam in online mode, candidates need to follow the following mentioned steps.
(1) Visit the official website
(2) Click on the Apply now button to create login credentials
(3) Then log in to apply for the application form
(4) Enter the details in the required area
(5) Check the details and pay the fees
(6) Make the payment online via Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking.

To submit the application form for the IBSAT exam in online mode, candidates need to follow the following mentioned steps.
(1) Candidates can buy the IBSAT application form along with the prospectus from any of the IBS campus or Axis bank branches at a payment of INR 1800 in cash.
(2) The candidate will receive a package on which a login ID and voucher number will be printed.
(3) The credentials mentioned in the package will be required to log in and register
(4) Set a new password for IBSAT 2023
(5) Use the given login ID and new password to fill out the IBSAT application form.

The exam mode of the IBSAT is Computer Based Test. Candidates need to choose the correct answer from the given 4 options.

The marking scheme for the IBSAT exam is +1 for each correct answer and there is no negative marking. It means candidates can answer the question without worrying about incorrect answers.

The duration of the IBSAT exam is 120 minutes. It means questions are needed to be solved within the given time.

The results of the IBSAT exam will release on the official website of IBS. Candidates need to score equal to or more than the required score for getting shortlisted.

The steps to download the IBSAT results are mentioned below:

(3) A new window will open 
(4) Enter the application number and password
(5) The result will be displayed on the screen
(6) Download and take the printout of the results.

The counselling process will start after the release of the results. The exam conducting body will release a list of shortlisted candidates. After this, candidates have to go through a few stages which are Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. The counselling process will happen in offline mode.
