How to prepare for KMAT Kerala: The KMAT Kerala is a state-level entrance exam, conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala. KMAT Kerala is biannually conducted in online mode across various centres all across the country. Through this entrance test, eligible candidates are offered admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) colleges across participating colleges in Kerala.
Aspiring candidates appearing for the KMAT Kerala must start with their preparations at least a month before the entrance exam. KMAT Kerala exam was conducted on March 3, 2024. KMAT Kerala Preparation Tips Section-Wise
Aspiring candidates who are appearing for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) must be aware of the examination syllabus and the exam pattern thoroughly. Quantitative Aptitude
For this particular section, the candidates must focus on their basic mathematical skills. It is advised to the candidates to focus on their speed and accuracy as this particular section takes up a lot of time during the exam.
English Language
The English Language section of KMAT Kerala involves topics such as para jumbles, antonyms and synonyms, reading comprehension, word meaning, fill-in-the-blanks, Antonyms and Synonyms, Word Meanings, Tense, and tenses. Candidates are advised to read newspapers and magazines to improve their vocabulary skills. Students should focus on time management for this particular section as it contains long passages. Students must divide their time accordingly so that every topic can be covered. The topic mentioned above can be a little consuming because of the long passages. Therefore, candidates must divide their time accordingly.
Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning
This section contains topics such as bar graphs, Blood Relations, coding-decoding, data structures, Data Structures, Strong and Weak Arguments, Clocks and calendars, puzzle questions and pie charts, Clocks, Direction Sense, Coding and Decoding, etc. Students should make notes and write down formulas and tricks. It is advised that students should solve mock test papers or practice question papers. Solve an ample number of mock tests and previous years’ question papers so that you can test your capability. Focus on solving the questions with accuracy.
General Knowledge & Current Affairs
Candidates should make newspapers so handy for this particular section. Students need to read newspapers and magazines Daily. They should have some background knowledge of topics such as sports, business, economics and political affairs. Students are advised to note down important events, names of people, dates, etc. Having good knowledge about current affairs will help the students to score good grades in this particular section. Not only this but they must also be well-trained in world news, sports, current affairs, history, etc. Candidates should also have a basic knowledge of Geography, Science, Politics, etc.
