In order to be eligible for this exam, the candidate must be a graduate or a final-year student in his/her bachelor’s program.
Upon clearing the GATE exam, candidates can always avail the benefit of the GATE scholarship/ financial aid. The scholarship is provided for up to 2 years for M.Tech students. Whereas, for PHD students, the scholarship is given for a period of 5 years.
