AIC Exam Reservation Criteria: The Agriculture Insurance Corporation of India Ltd. (AIC) will conduct the AIC Management Trainee – Rural Management exam on 2nd September 2023. Candidates appearing for this national recruitment examination must be updated about the AIC exam reservation criteria. Under the AIC exam reservation criteria, seats are reserved for separate categories and age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to the reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC and EWC.
Under the AIC Management Trainee exam 2022-23, conducted on 25th February 2023, a total of 50 seats were offered for the position of Management Trainee by the AIC. Out of these 50 MT seats, 9 were reserved for candidates belonging to the SC category, 4 seats for ST candidates, 12 seats reserved for OBC candidates, and 6 for EWS candidates. AIC Exam Reservation Criteria
The officials of the Agricultural Insurance Corporation of India Ltd. (AIC) set the reservation criteria according to the rules set up by the Government of India. For the AIC MT-Rural Management recruitment 2023, a total of 30 seats are offered for the position of Rural Management Trainee. The number of seats offered for each category under this recruitment possess is more or less the same every year.

AIC Age Relaxation Criteria
Apart from the AIC seat reservation criteria, there is an age relaxation criteria for candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The minimum age required to become eligible for the AIC MT- Rural Management recruitment is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years.
It means, that a candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd June 1993 and not later than 1st June 2002 (both dates inclusive). However, candidates belonging to the reserved categories will be given preference for age relaxation. The table below highlights the AIC exam age relaxation criteria.

*Note – If any candidate falls under two categories for age relaxation, then the relaxation will be available on a cumulative basis based on Government guidelines and Company Rules subject to the maximum age not exceeding 45 years.
Terms and Conditions
According to the AIC exam reservation criteria, candidates belonging to OBC and not from ‘Creamy Layer’ are not eligible for seat reservation and age relaxation. All these candidates will fall under the Unreserved category.
- The seats offered for the EWS category are tentative and are subject to directives of the Indian Government and the outcome of any litigation. Here are some terms and conditions related to the AIC exam reservation criteria that candidates must know about.
- After the candidate’s selection, there will be a training period of 12 months, after which candidates will be offered the position of Administrative Officer (Scale I), depending on the candidate’s performance during the training period.
- Candidates are also subjected to termination from the training period if they do not meet satisfactory performance. After the completion of the training period, candidates will be on a probation period for 1 year from the date of absorption.
- The probation period can be extended to a maximum of 6 months, where the officials of the AIC reserves the right to terminate the candidate’s services if found unsatisfactory at any point during the extended probation, that too without any notice.
