The G20 Summit of 2023 will be held in India’s capital city Delhi for two days on September 9 and 10. It will invite prominent leaders from the 40 most powerful and influential countries around the world as well as 20 member states.

This year’s G20 Summit will be hosted at the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan.

G20 Meeting in Delhi Holiday and Restrictions

Taking the safety and security concerns into consideration, there will be certain restrictions during the G20 Summit in Delhi. 

  • There will be a public holiday from September 8 to September 10 in the NCR. 
  • Metro services will operate unhindered except for certain stations such as the Supreme Court, Mandi House, Khan Market, etc.  
  • Certain traffic regulations will be seen except for the area outside the NDMC jurisdiction.
