Early Life Of Sakshi Malik
Sakshi Malik was born on September 3, 1992, in Mokhra Village, located in the Rohtak district of Haryana.
- Her father, Sukhbir Malik, worked as a bus conductor for the Delhi Transport Corporation, and her mother, Sudesh Malik, was a supervisor at a local health clinic.
- Badlu Ram, her grandfather, was also a wrestler, which inspired her to become one as well.
- She got support from her father, which paved the way for her to become one of the greatest women wrestlers in the country.
- She began her wrestling training at the age of 12 under coaches Ishwar Dahiya and Mandeep Singh at an akhara in Chhotu Ram Stadium, Rohtak.
- Sakshi completed her education at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, where she earned a master’s degree in physical education, where she later became the wrestling director.
