Established in 1998, Virginia International University (VIU) is a private university in Fairfax, Virginia. It was founded by Dr. Isa Sarac with an aim to provide the world class education in Business Management. But soon after starting MBA, SCHEV granted Virginia International University an authority to offer degree programs, certification, diplomas for the MBA program and undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Business. Today, Virginia International University has seven schools including the School of Business, School of Public and International Affairs, School of Language Studies, School of Computer Information Systems, School of Continuing Education, School of Education and School of Online Education.
