Established in 1956, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is a premier national university works under the direct management of the Ministry of Education of China. It is one of the premier universities included in the Project 211 in 1997 and it was also added to the Project 985 in 2001. It also comes under the Chinese Ministry of Education and is accredited as Double First Class A university. Moreover, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is research-based higher learning institution and has three campuses in Shahe, Qingshuihe and Jiuldi. The university offers wide-ranging programs in China’s 6 National Key Disciplines that have been classified for higher-level of education in the field of Electronic Science and Information Technology. The Qingshuihe campus is home to more than 25,000 training equipment as well as a library which houses over 3 million volumes.
