The University of Bari Aldo Moro is located in Apulia, Southern Italy. A higher education institution, it was founded in 1925. The university bears the name of the famous Italian politician and university alumni Aldo Romeo Luigi Moro, who was a leader of the Christian Democratic Party in the country and was the Prime-Minister of Italy after the post-war era. It is a specially designed state-supported university spread across 12 faculties. Each Department is designed uniquely with a focus on several fields including- Medicine, Science, Literature, Law, Mathematics, Arts, Social Science and Education. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs along with a focus on scientific research at the doctoral level. The university is highly-interactive and constantly collaborates with various foreign universities for different projects and research. The University of Bari Aldo Moro is considered one of the most reputed universities in Southern Italy, and is one of the largest universities in Italy with a large number of students enrolled at the university.
