University of Antwerp is a public university located in Belgium. Its establishment can be dated back to 1852.  Currently, it is known to be catering to the demands of around  20,000 students. This makes it the third-largest university of Flanders. The University of Antwerp is particularly known for its exceptionally high standards in education, internationally competitive research and entrepreneurial approach.  The University of Antwerp has been ranked among the top universities of the world for its infrastructural and placement facilities.

The university is known to have the best research ratings in 10 spheres - Imaging; Infectious Diseases; Materials Characterisation; Neurosciences; Drug Discovery and Development; Ecology and Sustainable Development; Port, Transport and Logistics;  Socio-economic Policy and Organisation; Public Policy and Political Science; Urban History and Contemporary Urban Policy.

In total, the university offers 30 academic bachelor programmes, 69 master programmes, 20 master-after-master programmes and 22 postgraduates. However, of these only 26 programmes are completely taught in English. The University of Antwerp is also known for its exceptionally great student life. It organises championships to encourage active student participation. To encourage cultural diversity at the campus, the University of Antwerp promotes the flow of international admissions every year.
