Southern Illinois University Edwardsville or SIUE is a public university that was established in 1957. It is located in Edwardsville, Illinois and is an extension of Southern Illinois Carbondale. The Daily Beast ranks SIUE 21st in the nation among its 2010 Top 50 Safest Colleges. SIUE offers graduate programs from eight colleges and schools, to students from across the globe.
