Nyenrode Business Universiteit is a Dutch business university which was founded in 1946. The educational institution is named after the castle where the course is located. It was founded under the name of the Netherlands Training Institute for Abroad by renowned private Dutch companies that included - KLM, Shell, Unilever, Philips and AkzoNobel with an objective- 'For Business, By Business'. The establishment was the result of an idea from KLM director Albert PlesmIn the Financial Times Ranking for European Business Schools (2020), Nyenrode occupies the overall position of 41st.
Campus and Courses
Nyenrode Business University has campuses in Breukelen and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The Breukelen campus is located on a 13th-century estate with the historic Nyenrode castle, experiencing intense campus life with an active student association Nyenrode’s Amsterdam campus is situated in the heart of the city alongside the historic canals where students are surrounded by an international community of companies, start-ups, and a business incubator.
Nyenrode Business University offers courses in business-oriented disciplines through undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Most of its courses are taught in Dutch.
