Madonna University is a Catholic liberal arts university established in 1937 by Felician Sisters. Even though the university is affiliated with the Catholic Church, the school enrols students and faculty of all faiths. The university is committed to offering more than 100 undergraduate majors and minors toward associate and bachelor's degree and various master's degree program in History, Health Professions, Clinical Psychology, Business, Criminal Justice and Education. Madonna University has 4 colleges: College of Arts & Humanities, College of Education, College of Natural and Social Sciences, College of Nursing and Health and 2 schools namely the Graduate School and the School of Business. Moreover, the students at Madona University can also opt for online degree experience in all major fields. Popular unique courses include Sign Language Studies, Dance, Broadcast and Cinema Arts, Gerontology, Pastoral Ministry, Social Work, Humane Studies, Sports Management and Dietetics. The university has a sustainable and eco-friendly campus on 109-acre land which is recognised by the US Green Building Council with facilities for gymnasium, activities centre, sports fields available for students with varied religious, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
