Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies is the largest non-profit private institution for higher education in Portugal, it was established in 1987 with its branch campuses in Lisbon, Torres Vedras, Portimão and Marinha Grande. The university aims to develop higher education in Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) countries in order to ensure the scientific, economic, social and cultural development of natives in Portugal.
