History, Affiliations and Rankings
London School of Business and Finance was established in 2003 and since then has grown from a college focusing solely on professional qualifications to a grand institution that provides executive education and postgraduate degrees, both on-campus and online. They are also a member of the Global University Systems, a growing network of 20 institutions and academic partners that provides education to over 75,000 students worldwide. Following the revocation of its visa sponsor licence by the UK government in January 2016, it cannot offer long-term courses or work placement to non-European Union students.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
LSBF has two campuses in the UK, one in Singapore and one in Sao Paulo (in partnership with Trevisan Escola De Negocios). They also deliver programmes via online mediums, allowing students to study from anywhere in the world. At the moment, international students have to pursue full-time courses online. LSBF offers Master's degree programmes in management, finance and marketing; executive and corporate short courses; and training for the ACCA and AAT examinations. LSBF does not have degree-awarding powers of its own.
Accomplishments and Alumni
The University won the 2013 Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The University has also won awards by the PQ Magazine(Best Use of Social Media, Lecturer of the Year) and Global Business Excellence(Outstanding Executive, Outstanding Educational Service) from 2014 to the present date. Some of the most famous alumni include Kumar Birla (Chairman, Aditya Birla Group), Evelyn Bourke (CEO, Bupa), and Simon Borrows (CEO, 3i Group).

LSBF teaches students of more than 158 nationalities. The Career Services of LSBF have collaborated with the likes of GAAP Web, Social Media Marketing Ltd, Sermo/WorldOne, Snob Monkey, Western & Oriental, Health and Care, Placement UK and many more.
