History, Affiliations and Rankings
Borough Road College, Maria Grey College, Shoreditch College, and the West London Institute of Higher Education, as well as Acton Technical College and Brunel College, have all contributed to the university's history, which dates back to 1798. Their development since 1966 has been remarkable, and their reputation continues to increase year after year. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the European University Association in terms of academic affiliation. The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has accredited the Brunel MBA.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
Richard Sheppard, Robson and Partners created the original Brunel campus, with many of the structures retaining the 1960s 'Brutalist' architectural style. It has appeared in various films, most notably Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, which was shot in major parts on campus, particularly in the Grade II listed John Crank Building and the Grade II listed Lecture Centre. It provides various admission paths (known as a pathway) into Brunel University London's undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The Foundation, First Year, and Pre-programs Master's of the College welcome both domestic and international students.

Some of the famous personalities are Ray BLK, stage name for Rita Ekwere, (English), singer-songwriter, Shohreh Aghdashloo, (International Relations), actress and Nick Abbot, (Psychology), radio presenter.

The student community at the college is truly diverse. It welcomes students from over 100 nationalities. There are many clubs and societies as well for the learner to explore and learn new stuff. The career service at the college assists students in getting placement and assistantship opportunities.
