Situated in the wonderful cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen in Netherlands, HAN University of Applied Sciences, also known as Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen in Dutch, was established in 1996. It was founded with a vision to provide the world class education in vocational education of applied science after merger of multiple schools in the region. TODAY, HAN University of Applied Sciences has four faculty including the faculty of Business Management and Law, Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Education. It has fourteen institutes spread across the four faculties including Institute of Engineering, Institute of Automotive (HAN Automotive Institute), Institute of Applied Sciences, Institute of Built Environment, Academy for Communication and Information Technology, College of Education for Primary School Teachers and College of Education for Secondary School Teachers, Institute of Business Administration and Law, Institute of Financial Management, Institute of Working and Learning, Institute of Nursing, Institute of Health Studies, Institute of Social Studies, Institute of Sports and Exercise Studies. HAN University of Applied Sciences offers wide range of programs at undergraduate (65 programs), postgraduate (21 programs) and associate levels in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Communication, Health Science, Economics, Built Environment and Applied sciences, Nursing, Physical Education and many more. HAN University of Applied Sciences is a research-oriented university with a number of research centers in which students are encouraged to carry out independent researches under guidance. Today, HAN University of Applied Sciences has two campuses, one in Arnhem and other in Nijmegen. Both campuses has the state-of-the-art facilities including clubs, sports facilities, spacious study environment, cafeterias, modern lecture classrooms, IT facilities which are surrounded by greenery and beautiful nature. The Arnhem campus has the Faculty of Business Management and Law and Faculty of Engineering whereas the Nijmegen campus is a home to the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences and Faculty of Education. HAN University of Applied Sciences has 35,500 students enrolled which represent approx. 60+ nationalities with more than 3,200 academic staff members.
