Q: What is the EIT course?

The key objective of the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) is to provide an outstanding practical engineering and technology education; from professional development courses to accredited Diplomas all the way through to a Doctorate of Engineering.

Q: Can I register with ECSA with a national N diploma?

ECSA requires as the baseline qualification, a National Diploma (NDip) in engineering obtained from a South African Technikon, which has been accredited by ECSA. A qualification assessed by ECSA to be equivalent will also be recognized.

The Engineering Institute of Technology arose in 2008 from the establishment laid out by affiliated business IDC Technologies.
