History, Affiliations and Rankings

The London School of Business & Management, which was founded in 2002, was renamed Bloomsbury Institute in 2019, a decision that reflects the rising reputation and ambition. Initially, the institution offered Pearson HND business and computing courses. It teamed up with Cardiff Metropolitan University and the University of Wales, Newport in 2008 to offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) commended them in 2015 for their efforts to improve student learning opportunities. The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) has accredited the Accounting and Financial Management degree programmes.

Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses

The campus, which is located in the heart of Bloomsbury in central London, is the right blend of modern and traditional. The gorgeous Bedford Square, just around the corner from Tottenham Court Road and Russell Square, is where the main office is located. When students are not in class, they will have access to state-of-the-art teaching rooms and lots of space to study. Students can use the Birkbeck Library, which has over 300,000 items. Undergraduate degrees in Business,  Accounting, and Law, as well as an MBA/MSc in Management, are available at the university. They are able to focus and fine-tune the courses to the high level that students actually deserve by specialising in three fields.

Accomplishments and Alumni

The university is committed to equality in everything they do, beginning with their workplace. It became the first higher education institution to Ban the Box for both staff and students, no longer requiring anyone who wants to study or work with them to reveal prior criminal convictions, thanks to Unlock's assistance. They are a military-friendly organisation dedicated to ensuring that veterans and their families have the same access to higher education as any other citizen. They are a part of Smarter London SME, which aims to remove any barriers for disabled persons who work with them. The university has a prestigious network of alumni all across the world.

Student Diversity and Visiting Companies

The international students are one of the key reasons Bloomsbury Institute is so active, committed, and diverse. Students (and faculty!) come from all over the world, including China, Nigeria, Brazil, and India. The shape and type of student representation in place can be influenced by the student body. On ways to strengthen student representation, the Student Guild's Student Council (made up of all Student Reps) was consulted. The Student Council came up with a number of suggestions. Top employment for university graduates includes McDonald's, Pret A Manger, Uber, NHS, Staykeepers, and Amazon.
