Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. Yes, summers in Jaipur can be very hot. The temperature can go up to 45°C in May and June. But it is not the hottest region in Rajasthan. It is more of a semi-arid area, not a desert, and the temperatures, while high, are not the highest in the state.
Option B: Mt. Abu
This is the only hill station in Rajasthan. It is located in the Aravalli Range. Because of its height and green cover, Mt. Abu has much cooler temperatures compared to the rest of Rajasthan. In summer, the temperature usually stays around 30°C or lower. People often go there to escape the heat.
Option C: Phalodi
This is the correct answer. Phalodi, a small town in the Jodhpur district, holds the record for the highest temperature ever recorded in India.
