- Meet the CSS Profile requirements: The CSS profile is a tool used by the university to assess the financial need of the applicant.
- To apply for the CSS profile students need to present parents’ 2022 income tax returns, current balance account balances, record of untaxed income, record of any other income, and the record of investments made.
- Additionally, the student has to meet the parental tax requirements or provide proof of income (documents)
- That is, international students must present the tax return of their parents from their home country. Moreover, an English translation of the same document must be provided.
MIT International Financial Aid Application Process
All MIT students can apply for the need based international financial aid. However, they have to complete the CSS profile application, and meet the requirements. For this, they can visit the official website of the university. After completing both the applications, the university will consider the application of the student, and will provide the required amount to the student. The beneficiary will be notified of the same. MIT financial aid counselors will guide the student throughout the application process.
