Study in UK: 2 Imperial College London International Scholarships to Apply this Month

Imperial College London offers international scholarships to students. For June, 2 scholarships are available. That is, the Leverhulme Studentship, and the MSc Health Policy bursaries. The awards are available to prospective international students and are given out as tuition fee discounts. Those who meet the eligibility criteria need to apply for the same before the deadline.  The Imperial College London ranks 6th in the world (as per QS World Rankings 2024). Therefore, it is one of the top 10 universities to study in the world. You can avail of these bursaries/scholarships to study at this prestigious university.

Leverhulme Studentship

The Leverhulme Studentship is available to Postgraduate doctoral students for the academic year 2024-25. The scholarship benefit is a tuition fee discount  & UKRI level stipend (approximately £21,237) for 3.5 years. However, only full-time Electrical and Electronic Engineering students can apply. Moreover, only 1 scholarship is available. 

Leverhulme Studentship Eligibility 

The eligibility requirements for this scholarship are:

• You must have a good first degree or a master’s degree (or other equivalent experience).
• Suitable backgrounds for the PhD positions  are mathematics, engineering, computing energy economics, etc 
• You must demonstrate understanding in the fields of economics, and power system operations 
• Those with demonstrable experience in data sciences and optimization are preferred.

To apply, first send an application for postgraduate studies via My Imperial. You can select Professor Mark O’ Malley as your research supervisor. The application form must include a CV and a cover letter. The deadline for applications is on 30/06/2024.

MSc Health Policy Bursaries

The MSc Health Policy Bursaries are available to students applying for postgraduate studies in the Surgery and Cancer department. A total of 5 bursaries are available. Each bursary is around £7,100. (50% of the award is given each year of the 2 year programme). 

MSc Health Policy Bursaries Eligibility 

The eligibility criteria for the bursaries are as follows:

• You must have received an offer letter from the university to study MSc Health Policy (course commencing in October 2024)
• Moreover, you must be an international student, have accepted the offer letter, and have met the required conditions.
• If you are a continuing student you are ineligible to apply

Interested students need to submit a statement (maximum word count 250) demonstrating their interest and how the scholarship would benefit them. The statement submission can be made to [email protected]. Details such as your name and college identification number must be provided. The last date to apply is 24th June 2024.
