Minister Tim Pallas highlights that the pass reflects Victoria’s warm welcome and meaningful support for international students, making it an appealing option for both academic and recreational pursuits.

With over 140,000 student visa holders currently in Victoria, international education is the state’s largest services export sector, supporting over 40,000 jobs. 

Benefits of International Student Travel Pass

Eligible international students can purchase discounted Victoria-wide travel myki cards for durations of 90, 180, or 365 days, saving up to 50% (up to $975). This pass allows students to travel across the state, providing accessibility to campuses, workplaces, and various attractions. It is beneficial for both Melbourne-based students looking to explore the state. It is also beneficial for regional students seeking affordable travel to Melbourne.
