The US minister counsellor for Public Diplomacy Gloria Berbena said that the Indian students now account for 69 per cent of all international students in the US. She also highlighted the role of trained advisers who provide free services to students.

She also added that they are experiencing a huge increase in the number of students coming to the US. Indian students have become the largest group of graduate level students in the country.

Last year around 200000 indian students were there in US universities and colleges. Indian was the no 1 country to send students to the US. Various education USA fairs are being held in India to help the students in the process of studying in the US.

New Updated Online Processing Times of IRCC

US has recently opened a new consulate in Hyderabad and plans to open two more in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad to further streamline the process. US minister counsellor was in Chandigarh University. The programme places fellows in higher education sponsored by the US state department and implemented by Georgetown University to work in various fields. The fellow will focus on communication skills at Chandigarh University for a period of 10 months.
