Taiwan ICDF international scholarship program is available for students undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students. The scholarship is fully funding and covers the entire expenses of the student. The institution has established Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) with 23 partner universities to manage the same, In the year 2024, a total of 29 programs are available under the scholarship program. All of these programs are taught in English. Moreover, the beneficiaries are encouraged to contribute to the home countries’ national development after graduation. The scholarship deadline is on March 15, 2024.
Taiwan ICDF International Scholarship Program 2024 Eligibility
The following are the eligibility criteria for the Taiwan ICDF International scholarship program. Students must meet these requirements to apply for the scholarship.
- The applicant must be a citizen of an eligible country. For example, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Colombia, and Hungary, among others.
- Moreover, he/she should not be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or an overseas compatriot student.
- Additionally, the student must meet the academic requirements of the university
- Must be able to satisfy all the requirements of a Resident Visa (Code:
- FS) set by the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)
- The applicant can not receive any scholarship other than the ROC (Taiwan) government-sponsored scholarship
- Those who have already received a TaiwanICDF scholarship, Taiwan Scholarship, or an MOE scholarship must have graduated before July 31, 2023.
- The applicant must not have any scholarship revoked by any ROC (Taiwan) government agency or related institution. Similarly, those who have been already expelled from any Taiwanese university are not eligible.
Taiwan ICDF International Scholarship Program 2024 Benefits
The Taiwan ICDF International Scholarship Program entitlements include: airfare expenses, tuition expenses, credit fees, textbook costs, insurance, and monthly allowance. These are provided in detail below:
- Airfare expenses to and from Taiwan with Economy Class tickets
- Housing expenses and the entire tuition fees required by the university
- Credit fees as required by the student’s university
- Insurance fees for accidental medical expenses
- Textbook expenses. (It has to be approved by the director of the student’s institute)
- Allowance expenses (Master’s student can get NT$18,000 per month and e NT$20,000
- per month)
