To apply for a US Visa and begin your semester in college, get ready with the documents required to process further applications. You need the certificate of eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status and DS-2019s or Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status.

Study Abroad: How to overcome Student Outreach & Support delays in the US? 

If you are interested in working in the US post-graduation, you can take the approval of the:

  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for employment authorization, and also 
  • International seniors often apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Further, to apply for this OPT, which allows for 12 months of off-campus employment. Moreover, this OPT process requires International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) to assist by proofreading each student’s application. To the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and also supplying new I-20 document
