Felix Scholarship
The Felix Scholarship allows Indian students and those who come from several developing countries to pursue their graduation in any subject from Oxford University. This particular program has been supporting Indian students since 1991. The scholarships are managed with the help of three universities – the University of Oxford, the University of Reading, and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. This initiative is further supported by Felix Trustees.
This particular scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees, living costs, and one return flight from India to the UK.
Eligibility
To apply for the Indian scholarship, the student must make sure that they have applied for a full-time master’s course or full-time DPhil course at Oxford University. The student also needs to keep in mind that they have previously not studied the same course for which they are applying. To apply for this scholarship:
- The student must be a national of India.
- He/She must have a first-class undergraduate or master’s degree from an Indian university.
- The student must not hold a degree from outside of India
- The student will be required to return to India once they complete their studies.
Application Process
In order to apply for the scholarship, there is no particular separate process. The student must submit the application by the deadline of the course they wish to pursue. The application form can be found on the official website.
Chevening Scholarship
Chevening comes under the UK’s government international scholarship program. It is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office and several other partner organizations. With the help of this scholarship, students are offered up to one year of a fully funded master’s course
Other than these benefits, by the end of this scholarship the student will join the diverse community of over 50,000 global alumni.

Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, students need to fulfil the following criteria:
- They are citizens of the Chevening – eligible country or territory.
- The student will have to return to their respective country for a minimum of two years after they have completed the course.
- Completed all components of an undergraduate degree which shall enable them to apply for a postgraduate degree in the UK.
- The student will need to have at least two years of work experience.
- Lastly, the student will have to apply to three different eligible universities and needs to have at least one unconditional offer letter by July 1,3 2023.
Other than there are certain disqualifying factors that the student needs to keep in mind. The disqualifying factors are as follows:
- If you hold British citizenship or dual British citizenship.
- If you hold refugee status in a non-Chevening eligible country.
- If you are a former employee or relative of the Chevening Partnership Organisation and the employment took place in the last two years then you are not eligible.
- Lastly, if you have studied in the UK with the help of funding from a UK government-funded organization.
Application Process
To apply for the same, the student will have to submit their education documents, references, and one unconditional UK offer letter. The deadlines for the same will be available on the official website through which the students can apply for this scholarship.
Keep in mind that the applications for this year have been closed while the applications for the year 2024 are expected to be open by August.
Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarship
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) is an organization with over 750 alumni based in India from various professions including law, banking, consulting, arts, literature, etc.
This particular scholarship comes with several financial aid and benefits. All those students who apply for the same are eligible for:
- Financial grant on the tuition fees
- Complimentary lifetime membership of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India association
- Mentoring by an academic official throughout the academic year.
- Oxford and Cambridge Society of India will also provide assistance in receiving a quick education loan from Indian Financial Institutions depending upon the OCSI letter.
- For those who have already availed the scholarship and want to apply for some other schemes at any institution in India and across the globe, a letter of support would be provided by the OCSI.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are that the student should be:
- Should be a permanent citizen of India
- The maximum age to be eligible for this scholarship is 30 years on September 1 of the year of the application for the award.
- In terms of education, the student should have more than 70% marks in their Class 12 and the degree should be from a recognized board.
- Must have graduated from an Indian university if applying for a second undergraduate or for a post-graduate degree.
- Must be admitted to the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford through the University’s normal academic procedures.
- Must be pursuing one of the courses specified on the website.
Application Process
The application process for the same is entirely online-based. To apply, applicants will need to:
- Download the application form from the official website of The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India.
- Once the application form is filled, the student will need to return the scanned copy of the entire form via email to the chairman of the scholarship committee.
Reach Oxford Scholarship
Reach Oxford Scholarship is offered to those international students who want to go abroad to study for the Undergraduate program at the University of Oxford. Students are offered a total number of 2-3 scholarships. This scholarship applies to all the courses except for Medicine.
Eligibility
- All those candidates who want to secure the Reach Oxford Scholarship must be a resident of one of the countries specified by the granting body such as Egypt, Cambodia, Argentina, Brazil, India, China, Malaysia, South Africa, Thailand, Zimbabwe, etc.
- He/ She must also be enrolled in one of the UG programs at the University of Oxford except for medicine.
- Lastly, the candidate must be an international freshman at the University of Oxford.
Application Process
Once you have fulfilled the eligibility criteria set out by the conducting body, candidates can initiate the application process by following the steps noted below:
- To register for the scholarship, the candidates should visit the official website
- The candidate must complete the registration process by providing the required information to obtain the login credentials
- The candidate will be sent a link to verify their profile
- Next, use the login credential to log in to the application portal
- Click on the “apply for starting the application”
- Fill out all the required information accurately and click on the “save” button to save all the details
- Finally, submit the application form.
The RHODES Scholarship
One of the oldest scholarships was first awarded in the year 1902. It enables outstanding young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. This scholarship allows scholars to come to the UK for two or more years to study post-graduate courses at Oxford University.
The scholarship covers University fees and provides an annual stipend. This stipend is given to students to manage their accommodation. The scholarship duration is extended as per the course duration.
Rhodes Trust also covers application fees to study at the University of Oxford, the cost of a Tier 4 Study Visa and the associated International Health Surcharge (IHS). It also covers two economy-class flights from and to the UK.
Eligibility
In order to meet the eligibility criteria, the student must be a citizen of India, hold a passport of India, and should be having equivalent proof of citizenship. Other than this, he/she should have taken a formal education from a recognized educational institution in India for a minimum of 4 years.
The candidate must also be aged 26 or below and have a minimum Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university in India.
