• Citizen of New Zealand 
• Have a Class Visa for New Zealand
• Enrolled at higher secondary school in New Zealand
• Intended to enroll in a full-time program in Food Science or consumer food science at the University of Otago

Institute of Food Technologists 

The following are the eligibility criteria for the Institute of Food Technologists:

• Enrolled in a degree in food science IFT-approved undergraduate program. 
• Minimum of 3.5 GPA in the program mentioned above. 
• Must have exceptional leadership experience

• IFTSA membership
