The progress and exploration of technologies have undeniably transformed the ways we learn. Films, computers, and games have made learning interactive and captivating. They effectively cater to types of learners who thrive through visual and Kinesthetic experiences. For example, a documentary can provide a better understanding of an event compared to a textbook. Similarly, educational games can stimulate students’ minds and help them enjoyably develop thinking and problem-solving skills.

Moreover, these digital resources come with advantages that are often lacking in books.  For instance, an online encyclopedia can offer a wealth of information that is constantly updated, which is something a traditional book cannot provide.  They provide access to various forms of information and facilitate interactive learning experiences and can be easily updated to incorporate the latest knowledge. Furthermore, they are accessible to all students regardless of their resources ensuring educational opportunities for everyone.

In conclusion, while traditional books certainly hold their merits, films, computers, and games have the potential to complement or even surpass those merits in aspects. A balanced approach that harnesses the strengths of both approaches would be highly beneficial, for students. However, it is crucial to recognise the growing importance of resources, in a student’s path. This viewpoint does not intend to devalue the role of books, in education. Instead it, emphasises the increasing worth of digital sources.
