Students who opt to send their TOEFL scores to their preferred university before the test day must: 

• Have an online TOEFL account. Test-takers can alter their choice of university until 10 p.m. before the test day. 
• Submit their TOEFL score reports via mail. Individuals are advised to not send their scores via any electronic alternative. 
• Individuals who send their TOEFL scores in advance have to wait 13 days after their test date for the scores to be delivered to universities. 

After Test Day

Individuals who wish to submit their TOEFL score reports to universities post the test day can do so by: 

• Logging into their TOEFL accounts and selecting the option of ‘Order Score Reports’. 
• Such a prompt will send your TOEFL score reports to your selected universities 4-5 business days after the request is made.  

Time Required for TOEFL Scores to Reach Universities

TOEFL Score Report Validity 

TOEFL scores remain valid up to two years after the TOEFL exam is conducted. The validity period for the scores expires after two years.
