• The applicant must have received an offer letter for either of the above-mentioned courses from the university 
• The applicant must be assessed as an international student for tuition fee purposes (The university uses the information provided in the application form to assess your fee status against UK government regulations)
• The applicant must belong to and be a citizen of the following countries in the United States
  • Columbia 
  • Peru
  • Argentina
  • Venezuela
  • Cuba
  • Brazil
  • Mexico
  • Jamaica

• Demonstrate the need for financial assistance
• The applicant should have completed an undergraduate degree in the relevant field to pursue an MSc program in the mentioned subjects
• Attain the required English language proficiency for the postgraduate course at a UK university 
• The applicant must have relevant work experience and show interest in the chosen subject
• Agree to the terms and conditions that the data can be shared with the British Council when applying for the scholarship
• Be an engaging and committed part of the British Council alumni
• Return to the home country for a minimum of two years after the scholarship award has ended
