  1. Optimize Your Profile

Take some time and enhance your profile. Update your profile picture, it should be a little formal. Professionally set the banner.

Take some time to craft a short, snappy, and intriguing description mentioning your skill set, interests, etc. Identify the keywords that you want to associate yourself with such as ‘experienced developer’ and use them in your description. Include your name, email, and cell phone number to allow them to connect with you over text or a call. If there’s no response from the recruiter within 3-4 business days, you can send a follow-up message. And keep that simple. Ask them if they have time to connect and state your continued interest in a specific job posting or field of work.
