Sample 1: Write a Letter to Your Friend About Drawing Competition
2nd Floor, 54-C, Laxmi Nagar Delhi-110051 5 March 2024 Dear Neeti, I hope you are in great health. I am good too. I received your parcel of colours that you sent to me for my drawing competition. Thank you for sending those amazing oil pastels and watercolours. My drawing competition was yesterday and I want to tell you all about it. It was an inter-school drawing competition and was held in Vivekanand School, D-Block, Anand Vihar. We reached there by 9:30 a.m. The competition started at around 10:30 a.m. The time limit for the same was 2 hours. The topic was “Nature”. This is one of my favourite topics and I can create great works of paintings on the same. Using the watercolours and oil pastels you sent me, I created a beautiful scene of nature with a river flowing and mountains surrounding a valley with sunlight coming through the clouds making the scene beautiful. And I finished my painting within the given time of 2 hours. The lunch was organised by the host school. After the lunch, it was time for the announcements of results. After several categories, my category of painting was announced and to my surprise, I achieved the first position in the same. I was so happy. I received a trophy and a certificate for the same which I showed to my parents when I returned home. I will show you my trophy next time you visit me. It has been a long time since we met. When you can find time, call me. Till then, take care and give my regards to your parents. Your loving friend, Yashika |
