Sample 1: Write a Letter to Your Friend about a Film You Have Recently Seen
| B-56, 4th Floor, Siddh Apartments, Patparganj, Delhi-110092 13 December 2025 Dear Mohan, I hope everything is going well with you and your loved ones. I’m doing fine as well. My examinations finished not long ago, and I finally have enough leisure time to enjoy watching films I love. As you already know, horror movies are my favorite, so yesterday I decided to watch a movie called The Conjuring. This movie is a perfect choice for anyone who enjoys horror films. What makes it even more interesting is that it is inspired by true events. The film opens with a scene involving the doll named Annabelle, which is said to be based on a real-life object. Just knowing that made the scene extremely chilling for me. As the story unfolds, it shows the hardships faced by a family living in a house haunted by a dark past where a witch was once executed. The children’s mother becomes the central negative character after being taken over by an evil spirit and attempting to harm her own children. The heroes of the film are real-life paranormal investigators, Ed Warren and his wife Lorraine Warren, who step in to help the family. They try to free the house from the evil presence by conducting an exorcism, which is one of the most frightening parts of the movie. The film also includes several well-timed jump scares that add to the suspense. With summer holidays approaching, I was thinking it would be nice for us to finally meet, as it has been quite a while. Do give me a call once your exams are over. Until then, stay safe and convey my warm wishes to your parents. Your loving friend, Shlok |

| 24, Green Park New Delhi 13 December 2025 Dear Rahul, I hope you are doing well. I really wanted to share with you about a recent movie I watched and I cannot stop thinking about it. It is called 12th Fail, and I couldn’t wait to tell you about it.It’s a film based on the real-life story of a poor boy who dreamed of becoming an IPS officer amidst poverty, continued failures, and permanent struggles. One of the things that struck me about the movie is the realism of determination, dedication, and faith in self-confidence that was depicted. Acting in the movie seemed very genuine, with the person playing the role conducting himself in a very realistic manner. The narration is also very simple yet effective, and the background score helps lift the emotional portions of the movie at the correct junctures without overshadowing them. Towards the end of the movie, I was inspired as it reminded me that it is only those who remain determined that achieve success, no matter what obstacles lie before them. This is one film I would really advise watching whenever the opportunity arises. I’m so sure you will find it quite inspiring and meaningful. Do write back and share your thoughts after watching it. Yours lovingly, Shikha |
