About SM Choksey High School and Junior College
SM Choksey High School and Junior College were established in 1937 and affiliated with the Maharashtra Board, offering classes from Nursery to std XII. The school introduced classes after X from the year 1946, which was inaugurated by our former honorable prime minister, Mr Jawaharlal Nehru. The school aims to instill moral, physical, and emotional training in its students to help them develop a personality that turns them into responsible citizens of India. By keeping extra-curricular activities such as music, dance, drama, art, craft, and much more, the school helps in the skill development of students. The school also envisions creating efficiency and self-confidence that develop the overall personality of a student. The school instructs the students through two language mediums- English and Gujarati.
Pratt Memorial Nursery Admission 2023-24
Eligibility: SM Choksey High School and Junior College Admission
Certain criteria are needed to be fulfilled by the students to be eligible for admission to SM Choksey High School and Junior College. The eligible age for students seeking admission in the nursery should be 3+ and less than 4 years as on 31st March 2023. The selected students will receive an email and will be guided through further admission procedures.

Admission for Std XI
For admission in std XI, students need to fill up a Centralised Admission Form and with the same information fill up the College Form online. There will be a 10% reservation for students belonging to SM Choksey School and a 50% Minority Quota will be there.

Points to be Noted
These are some points that are required to be taken into consideration before filling up the admission form:
- Admission for the computer science subject is for two years and required to be approved by the Technical Department of Education
- Students can apply for Linguistic Minority Quota only if they have filled the Minority Quota in Centralised Form Part 1
- Students passed out from SM Choksey can fill out the in-house quota and students with Gujarati mother tongue can fill out the minority quota form
- Admission will be done on a merit basis
- Original leaving certificate and parent’s photograph are to be submitted at the time of admission
