The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Class 10 result on 13th May 2024. The CBSE Class 10 result 2024 is available on the official website- cbseresults.nic.in, and cbse.nic.in To check CBSE 10th Result 2024 students can use their admit card roll no, DOB, the centre, and school number. The passing criteria for CBSE Class 10 exams is that students must secure an overall 33% (including internal assessment and Class 10th Board examination) in all the subjects.

The CBSE 10th Result 2024 will be also released on the newly launched examination portal ‘Pariksha Sangam’. CBSE 10th board students can check their respective results by entering their important details such as date of birth, roll number, school number, etc., in the login window.

Last year, the Board released the CBSE Class 10 Result 2023 on May 12, 2023.

How to Check the Results For CBSE Class 10th?

Students can get their class 10th CBSE result in the following ways:

Check results by visiting the Official Site

Students can check their CBSE class 10th result 2024 online at results.cbse.nic.in:

  • Visit one of the official CBSE websites: results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
  • Look for the “Result Class 10” section.
  • Click on the “CBSE 10th Result 2024 download” option.
  • Enter your roll number.
  • Click “Submit”.

Check Results via SMS

To check the CBSE result 2023 class 10 conveniently, students are also given the option to check it by sending an SMS through their registered mobile number on 7738299899, in the given format: CBSE10, Roll No., DOB, school number, center number.

Check Results via Digilocker

To get the class 10th mark sheet from DigiLocker, students can visit the website — cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in/activatecbse for the initiation of their account confirmation process. Students must note that they must require a PIN to download their marksheet from the app. How do you get it? To strengthen the security and privacy of the student data, the PIN has been introduced.

IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) is rolled out by CBSE so that students can get their class 10 result 2024 through a call by dialling this number- 24300699. Students just need to add the area code before calling this number.

Grading System of Class 10th Result 2024

How to calculate the CGPA of CBSE Class 10th Result 2024

Students can calculate the CGPA by following the instructions given below:

  • Add the scored grade points of the main five subjects
  • Now, divide the number by 5
  • Let’s say the grade points for 5 subjects respectively are 8,8,7,9,8

For example: Total= (8+8+7+9+8) = 40

Now average grade = 40/5

CGPA = 8

How to convert CGPA into a percentage

In order, to convert the overall CGPA into a percentage, multiply it by 9.5

For example, For 8 CGPA, multiply it by 9.5

Thus, 8 x 9.5 = 76%

Passing Marks for 10th Result 2024

Students must obtain the following minimum passing marks for the CBSE Class 10th exam 2024 for theory and practical exams:

Re-Totalling of Marks 2024

  • Students who discover an error in their CBSE 10th exam can request that their marks be re-totaled.
  • Students must fill verification application form online on the official website.
  • Once the application form is submitted, the board re-checks the answer sheets for totalling errors, missing out marks while totalling, or unchecked/ unmarked questions.
  • After re-checking, the board will share the result with the students and allow them to request a photocopy of their re-checked CBSE Class 10th result 2024.

Revaluation or Rechecking of Class 10 CBSE Result 2024

The online portal to register for re-checking/ re-evaluation will be activated in July.

  • The portal will remain active for 2 -3 days
  • Students must pay a re-evaluation fee of Rs 100 per question to register online. The fee is non-refundable
  • Any changes in the marks will be reflected in the final CBSE 10th Class Result 2023
  • The CBSE 10th result 2024 declared after re-evaluation will be considered final
  • No further appeal against the re-evaluation will be entertained.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2024: Reverification, Re-evaluation, and Mark Sheet Photocopy Fees

To apply for CBSE 10th results verification, the students need to pay Rs 500 per subject. Whereas, the students who want to apply for re-evaluation have to pay Rs 100 per subject. Also, the students have to pay Rs 500 per answer sheet to apply to get a photocopy of CBSE Class 10 answer sheets.
