IGNOU MA History Admission Process

The application process for IGNOU MA History started in July. All the candidates who are interested in studying this 2-year programme will have to apply for admission online. At the IGNOU official website, the admission portal is open till 10th September 2023. Applicants who are fresher or want to re-register can fill out the admission form before this date. Here are step-by-step instructions which will help you to apply for admission at IGNOU.

• Go to the official website of IGNOU at http://www.ignou.ac.in/ignou/.
• Under the dashboard, look for the ‘Register Online’ option.
• Under this, select your preferred choice; Fresh Admission Distance or Online or Re-registration.

• After clicking on your preferred choice, you need to fill out your IGNOU registration form, where a username, password and captcha code are required.
• Applicants must ensure that their Username and password do not exceed the number of characters required (8 to 16).
• Once all the details have been entered, click the ‘Submit’ button.
• You’ll receive a confirmation email where your registration username and password will be sent.
• Then use these credentials to log in to the IGNOU portal and start filling out your application form.
• The IGNOU application form requires essential information such as your contact details, education qualifications, the course you wish to study, etc.
• Once you’ve entered all the details, you need to upload the necessary documents and pay the non-refundable registration fee.

Documents Required

While applying for admission at IGNOU, applicants must submit scanned copies of all the necessary documents. The documents required during the IGNOU MA History admission process are listed below.

• Applicant’s latest passport-size photo (file size must not exceed 100kb)
• Applicant’s signature (file size must not exceed 100kb)
