After the result of SMAT 2023 is released, counselling begins. The candidates can check the results from the official website of Shiv Nadar University, once it is released. SMAT Counselling Eligibility

The first step for the SMAT selection is giving the entrance tests. However, there is another way that the applicant can get admission directly to this university. The candidates who have secured a minimum 65 percentile in GMAT or NMAT are eligible for appearing directly in the Personal Interview round.

Steps of the SMAT Counselling Process

The SMAT counselling process involves the following steps:

1. SMAT Result Declaration: Once the SMAT result is declared, the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the counselling dates and other details via email or SMS.
2. Registration: Shortlisted candidates need to register for SMAT counselling by filling out an online form on the official website of the university.
3. Payment of Counseling Fee: After registration, candidates need to pay the counselling fee online. The fee amount will be mentioned on the official website.
4. Choice Filling: Candidates need to select their preferred course and specialization during the choice-filling process.
5. Document Verification: Candidates need to carry the required documents (original and photocopies) for verification during the counselling process. Some of the documents that are typically required are SMAT Admit Card, SMAT Scorecard, Class X and XII Mark Sheets, Graduation Mark Sheets, ID Proof, etc.
6. Seat Allotment: The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s SMAT score, choice of course and availability of seats.
