Programs Under CUSAT CAT Law

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a state-run institution. CUSAT CAT Law 2023 will be held in order to grant admission to the university for various law programs. The CUSAT application form will be issued in February 2023, and qualified applicants may apply until March 2023. The 3-year LLB exam will be held in the month of May 2023, and the admit card will be available 15 days prior to the exam.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) will release the CUSAT CAT 2023 notification regarding admission to CUSAT CAT LAW programs soon in the month of February 2023. The CUSAT CAT online application form 2023 will also be accessible on the admissions.cusat.ac.in the website. Interested candidates can apply for CUSAT CAT LAW programs till March 2023.

Eligibility 

Candidates who want to sit for the CUSAT CAT law 2023 must fulfil the university’s eligibility requirements. Important information such as required educational qualification, qualifying exams, age limit, and so on are included in the eligibility requirements.

5-year LLB 

• Candidates applying for this programme should have obtained at least 60% in their Class 12 examinations, including subjects from the science/commerce streams, or at least 55% in the arts/humanities streams.
• Candidates from the SC/ST or SEBC categories who have cleared the plus two examinations with 50% or above are eligible to apply for admission.
• The university does not set a minimum age limit.

3-year LLB 

• The candidate must have received at least 50% of the total marks in the qualifying graduation examination.
• Candidates from the SC, ST, and SEBC categories are entitled to a 5% reduction in qualifying marks.
• The university does not set a minimum age limit.

LLB B.Com

• Candidates applying for this programme should have obtained at least 60% in their Class 12 examinations, including subjects from the science/commerce streams. 
• Candidates from the SC, ST, and SEBC categories are entitled to a 5% reduction in qualifying marks.
• The university does not set a minimum age limit.

Exam Pattern 

The Cochin University of Science and Technology conducts the CUSAT CAT in online mode. CUSAT CAT 2023 will last 120 minutes i.e 2 hours and is divided into 2 parts.

The CUSAT CAT 2023 paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth three marks. According to the CUSAT CAT 2023 exam format, the total number of marks for the exam is 150. For each correct response, candidates will receive  +3 marks, while each incorrect response will result in a deduction of 1 mark. Preparation Tips 

It is critical for students to plan their preparation before taking the entrance exam. One should make a study schedule, look for resourceful preparation books, create a timetable to cover the entire syllabus, and so on. We have mentioned some useful tips for candidates to prepare for the exam.
