OTET Answer Key 2023: Paper I and II, Raise Objection

OTET answer key 2023 was released by the officials of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on 8th July 2023. The OTET 2023 was conducted on 1st July 2023 at various exam centres for candidates who wanted to become teachers at government and private schools in Odisha. BSE, Odisha initially released the provision answer key for Papers I and II separately and then released the OTET answer key for both papers on the same date. 

Candidates who appeared for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test on 1st July 2023 will have the right to challenge the answer key of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test before the deadline expires; on 11th July 2023. How to Check OTET Answer Key?

The OTET answer key 2023 for papers I and II was made available on 8th July 2023. Candidates who appeared for any of the Odisha Teaching Eligibility Tests were required to visit the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha and check their answer keys. Candidates can follow the instructions mentioned below to check the OTET answer key 2023.

• Visit the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha at https://bseodisha.nic.in/.
• Under the dashboard, look for the ‘OTET Answer Key’ option and click on it.
• Candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth to check their answer keys.
• Once you’ve entered your credentials, a new tab will appear on your screen, displaying your answer key.
• Candidates can cross-check all their answers with the help of the answer key.

Calculating Marks Using Answer Key

OTET answer key allows candidates to calculate their marks on the test. This answer key contains correct answers for all the questions on the test paper. Candidates must ensure that they know how to calculate their answers using the answer key. Candidates will be given 1 mark for every correct answer in the exam. Candidates can check their OTET exam scores by following the OTET marking scheme discussed in the table below.

How to Raise Objections

Candidates who appeared for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 are allowed to raise objections against the answer key. Candidates must note that BSE, Odisha first released the provision answer key, where a deadline is given to all the candidates to raise objections. For each objection against the OTET answer key, candidates need to pay INR 500 to BSE, Odisha.

Steps to Raise Objection

Candidates can raise objections against the answer key by following the instructions given below.

• Go to the official website of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha at https://bseodisha.nic.in/.
• Under the dashboard, look for the ‘OTET Answer Key’ option and click on it.
• You will be directed to a new page, where you need to click on the ‘Raise Objections’ option.
• Candidates will have to pay for each objection they raise.
• The objection fee is INR 500 for each question.
• Once an objection has been raised, candidates must wait for a maximum of 12 hours for the officials to take action.
