IPMAT Admission Process 2024
A candidate should first of all go through the IPMAT eligibility criteria. Post that, your IPMAT admission process will be completed.
Step 1: Fill in the Application form
The candidates who appear for the IPMAT exam need to register themselves for the exam. Must note that the application form has to be submitted before the deadline. It is recommended to check the eligibility criteria before filling in the IPMAT registration form.
The fee is INR 4130 for the General category/NC-OBC and INR 2,065 for reserved category candidates. The candidates must note that the fee can also be paid only in online mode. Candidates can choose to pay the fee by any of the following:
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- NetBanking
Step 2: Download the IPMAT admit card
Candidates who have registered successfully for the exam will now be able to access the admit cards. The registered candidates can download their individual admit cards from the official website by entering their respective registered ID and password.
Step 3: Appear for the IPMAT Exam
The IPMAT exam is likely to be conducted on 23 May, 2024. IPMAT will be conducted via online mode and the duration of the exam will be two hours. The registered candidates will be told to appear for the exam where they will be assessed on Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
Step 4: Check the IPMAT 2024 result
Test-takers can check their results online. The result will probably be declared in the third week of June 2024. Generally, the result will be declared within 10-15 days from the date of the exam. Candidates need to enter their application form number, email ID or Date of Birth to access their results.
Step 5: WAT-PI
The candidates who will clear their written test will be further called in for the WAT-PI process. Then, the shortlisted candidates need to appear for an Essay writing round and will then be interviewed by panellists of IIM Indore.

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
IPMAT eligibility 2024 is a group of conditions that as mentioned by IIM Indore, students must meet for admission to the five-year Integrated Programme in Management. The eligibility criteria for the IPMAT exam 2024 are as follows:
- The students should score a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or comparable examinations in the case of the General and NC-OBC categories.
- The candidates must have taken the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023 or 2024.
- Also, the students should be a maximum of 20 years of age as of July 31, 2024.
- Candidate should have scored at least 55% aggregate in Class 10/SSC and Class 12/ HSC or equivalent examination in the case of SC, ST and PWD (DA) categories.
