AILET PG Application Form

The All India Law Entrance Test is administered by the National Law University (NLU) in Delhi (AILET). Candidates who wish to pursue a career in law may take the AILET. This deemed university offers the BA LLB (Hons), PhD, and LLM degrees. There are 83 seats available in the BA LLB programme. There are ten seats available in PhD and fifty seats in LLM programs. The notification would be released by the official authority soon.

AILET PG Application Process 

The application form will be available on the official site in the month of September 2023. Candidates can refer to the steps below to know how to fill out the application form. 

Candidates must go to the NLU Delhi official website.

Registration

Click on ‘Register to Apply Now,’ then enter the following information to create a signup/login account:

  • E-mail Address
  • Name of the candidate
  • Make a Password
  • Date of Birth
  • Phone Number 
  • Contact Information

Click on the confirm registration button, then log in again to complete the application form.

Select the Course

Since the exam is held for both undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, candidates must select the course for which they are applying. Candidates must choose an application form for BA LLB (Hons), LLM, or PhD. After selecting the course for which they wish to be enrolled, candidates must proceed by clicking the “Apply Now” button.

Filling out the application form 

After successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill out the form to complete the NLU Delhi admissions application process. The candidates must fill out the following information

Uploading Documents 

Candidates are required to upload the following documents in the specified format 

Photo 

  • Photo size must be less than 150 KB 
  • Upload the photo in JPG, GIF or BMP format
  • The photo should be clear and  recent 
  • The photo should be a colour photo with a light-shade background 

Signature 

  • Document size must be less than 150 KB 
  • Upload the document  in JPG, GIF or BMP format
  • The photo should be clear 
  • The signature should be done with only blue or blank ink 
  • The paper should be white in colour 

Paying Application Fees 

Online mode -Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking option via an online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates must choose the ‘Online Payment Gateway’ option and enter their credit card or net banking information before proceeding to pay.

Offline mode – Candidates who wish to pay the application fee offline must select ‘Cash Deposit at Post Office’ as the mode of payment. Then they must select their city and the nearest branch, after which a challan will be generated. Within 48 hours of generating the challan, download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch. Once the fee has been paid, the status will be updated.

Form Submission 

After paying the application fee and viewing the status in the applicant account, candidates must double-check the information on the form and submit it online only. Print out copies of the completed application form for future reference.

How to Edit Application Form

If necessary, candidates can edit the AILET 2023 application form on the exam’s official website. Candidates can do so by following the steps outlined below:

  • Visit the official website of AILET.
  • Click on Login option. 
  • Login using your credentials 
  • Select go to edit application form option
  • Edit the changes in the application form.
  • Finally submit the application by clicking on submit.

The AILET application process began on September 7th. The AILET 2023 application form is being released early because the exam authority, NLU Delhi, has decided to hold the entrance exam in the same year as AILET 2022. This means that AILET 2023 will be held on December 11, 2022, in a pen-and-paper format.
