Eligibility Criteria

As per the trend in 2022, to be eligible to appear in the exam, candidates must meet the KVS TGT Eligibility Criteria. The essential requirements for KVS TGT eligibility are as follows:

KVS TGT Educational Requirements

  • Graduation in the related field with at least 50% overall average or four years of integrated degree courses from the NCERT Regional Institute of Education.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidates with a B. Ed degree must have passed CTET Paper II.
  • A diploma in a relevant field and computer literacy are prerequisites.

Age Limit

  •  The maximum age limit for the position of KVS TGT is 35 years old.
  •  SC/ST category candidates are provided with five years of relaxation.
  •  OBC category candidates are provided with five years of relaxation.
  •  There are five years of relaxation for female students.

How to Fill Out the 2022 KVS TGT Application Form?

It is advised that all applicants should submit their applications for the exam only after carefully reviewing the prerequisites. To take the exam, candidates must complete and submit the KVS TGT Application Form online. To complete the application for the KVS TGT exam, candidates can use the instructions given below:

1: Visit the KVS TGT official website and Register by entering the basic details such as name, contact number, email ID and so on.  

2: A provisional username and password will be sent to the candidate’s email ID and phone number. Candidates must log in using the received credentials.

3: Fill out the required information, such as your educational background, preferred exam sites and many more.

4: Upload scanned copies of recent passport-size photographs and signatures.

5: Review the Application Form and if required, make the necessary corrections.

Selection Process

To choose the qualified candidates, exams and interviews are conducted. Furthermore, a merit list is prepared.

Selection test

The All-India level competitive exam is the first stage of the hiring process. For KVS TGT posts, the exam is conducted on the same date across the nation. Applicants should qualify for the exam to be eligible for the next round of the selection process, i.e. the interview round. For this exam, the qualifying marks are set by the recruiting authority.

Interview

In the second round, an interview is conducted with the candidates. Applicants who qualify for the exam are shortlisted for the interview. Based on the final results, a merit list is released for participants. As per the number of openings, the selected candidates are assigned various KVS vacancies across all states and Union Territories (UT).

Admit Card

Applicants can download their Admit Cards once they have completed and submitted their Application Forms.

The steps listed below can be used to download the KVS TGT Admit Card by candidates:

1: Visit the official KVS website.

2: Click on the link “Download Admit Card”.

3: Enter the date of birth and password.

4: Press the submit button to download the Admit Card.

5: Take a printout of your Admit Card for further use.

Syllabus

The KVS TGT Syllabus covers the following topics: Reasoning, English, Hindi, and General Knowledge. KVS TGT Syllabus is divided into two parts, i.e. Part I and Part II. Henceforth, below in the tabular form, we have categorised as per the division.

KVS TGT Part I 2022 Syllabus

Two subjects, i.e. General Hindi and General English are included in the KVS TGT Part I exam. From each subject, there will be a total of ten questions, each carrying ten maximum marks (as per the trend in 2022).

For the position of TGT, there is a zonal selection option. As per the trend in 2022, there were 5949 openings (tentative). 

Salary

The 7th level of the Central Pay Commission will serve as this position’s pay grade. With allowances, the candidates’ average monthly in-hand KVS TGT pay ranges from Rs. 44900/- to Rs. 1.42 lakhs/-.

How many KVS TGT exam attempts are allowed?

Candidates are permitted to appear in the exam as many times as they want until they satisfy the age criteria of this exam. 

Is B.Ed. compulsory for KVS TGT Exam?

For KVS TGT candidates must have completed B. Ed. degree from an accredited university and must have a CTET Certificate.
